White Oak Wood Slice Board
This wood slice board was made from a fallen tree White Oak in ‘The Hollow’, at Tyler Arboretum in PA. This Oak tree had a significant impact on Tyler Arboretum, supporting an astounding 900 species of caterpillars and providing millions of acorns for countless wildlife throughout its lifetime. It was older than many of the historic Painter Era trees dating back to the 1800s. Wow!
These boards can be used to display your awesome bread or other goodies, to serve cheese and/or tasty meat products, or as cutting boards.
Movement in the wood is normal and considered part of its charm. Clean with a damp cloth. Dry immediately. Re-oil occasionally.
